We provide all kinds of metric screws in different thread pitches and we also supply custom-built screws with special heads for example. Particularly for the recycling sector, our product portfolio includes snug bolts DIN 604, countersunk screws DIN 7991, hexagon screws DIN 933 and cylinder-head screws DIN 912 which are available in blank, raw and galvanized designs.
HEICO-LOCK
HEICO-LOCK® wedge lock washers acc. to DIN 25201 secure different types of screw connections only through the effect of the preload force and play an important role in the long-lasting fixation of knives in the mill or in the shredder. It is one of the few truly effective possibilities to obtain a secure and practically unsolvable screw lock.
Operating principle: While tightening the screw or nut, the used pressure resulting of the applied torque, embeds the radial ribs of the HEICO-LOCK® wedge lock washer into the counter surface. Through this effect, the HEICO-LOCK® lock washer is secured against twisting and only moves over the wedge. The wedge is designed in such way that the angle of the wedges to each other is always larger thang the thread pitch of the screw itself. As a result, turning the screw in loosening direction increases the preload force leading virtually to a self-locking. The HEICO-LOCK® wedge lock washer there also is a good protection against vibrations and other dynamic stress in the machine. The washers are produced with a high hardness to also effectively secure screw joints with high rigidity. Furthermore this system also has the advantage that easy assembly and also disassembly can be done quickly the HEICO-LOCK® wedge lock washer may be used again.
